LIVINGSTON » The Princeton Day School baseball team upset Newark Academy, 4-1, in the New Jersey Independen­t Schools Athletic Associatio­n Prep B Tournament Friday.

Thomas Sarsfield dou- bled and drove in two runs for the Panthers, who will continue in state tournament play Tuesday when they visit Pennington after hosting West WindsorPla­insboro South in a Mercer County Tournament consolatio­n game Monday.

Buecker allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits, struck out 12 and walked just one. Nick Houghton hit a tworun homer for Nottingham.
