Early-Morning Gunfire: Two men were shot shortly after midnight Monday on the 700 block of Monmouth Street. Officers found two men at the corner of Chestnut and Hamilton avenues, a 25-yearold man who was shot in the back and a 19-year-old was who hit in his right side. They were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where they were still listed in stable condition. The two men were in a vehicle together driving on Monmouth Street when they heard gunfire and realized they were being shot at. The sped down toward Hamilton Avenue when they realized they were struck. Cops don’t have any leads on the suspects after they recovered

evidence substantia­ting the gunfire which is being looked at by the Shooting Response Team.

Harasser: Christina Rios, 23, was arrested and charged with harassment after cops called to the 200 block of Pennington Avenue. An exboyfrien­d told officers Rios kept showing up at his home trying to break in. Rios was at the home and was arrested and charged.

Group Think: Tyquer Fleming, 26, was hit with a bunch of drug charges after detectives patrolling the area of Hudson and Tyler streets spotted Fleming standing in the 200 block huddled with others. He had something in his hand that everyone was apparently obsessed with. The group scattered once they became aware of cops spying on them. Fleming closed his hand and walked off. Detectives stopped to investigat­e and found him with suspected crack cocaine, a yellow pill and $393 in cash, seized as suspected drug proceeds. He had 10 warrants out for his arrest.

Dope and Coke: Andrew Anderson, 26, was popped with drugs after detectives spotted a pickup with illegally tinted windows near Perry Street. As detectives turned around, the driver accelerate­d away. Detectives caught up the truck and saw Anderson making “furtive” movements. He was found with a bunch of dope and cocaine. He had 137 bags of heroin, 39 grams of crack cocaine and $3,128 in cash seized as suspected drug proceeds. He was issued traffic tickets.

Stalker: Joseph Hollo, 59, was hit with a stalking charge after cops responded to the 1200 block of North Olden Avenue for a domestic spat. Cops found took Hollo into custody after they had been at the home earlier in the day.

Drugs: Alexis Holliman, 22, was hit with a number of drug charges after cops were on the first block of North Hermitage Avenue. Street crime detectives patrolled the spot after complaints about drug dealing. Detectives saw a group milling about on the side of a building and stopped to investigat­e. They were led to a vehicle Holliman was sitting in. Smelling pot, cops saw drugs and packing material in the console and recovered 11 grams of marijuana and packing material.

Purse Napper: David Housley, 33, was charged with a strong-arm robbery stemming from a purse napping. Cops got flagged down by victims in the McDonald’s parking lot telling cops the suspect jacked the victim’s purse. The woman told cops she and her family had bought a pizza and were standing on the corner when Housley purse napped her. The woman’s husband chased Housley into the parking lot where he was detained by a security guard who tackled Housley to the ground until cops got him in custody.

Cop Fight and Pills: Alzavier Upshur, 28, and Robert Dockery, 34, were arrested by street crime detectives on the 400 block of Walnut Avenue. During a car stop for blowing through a stop sign, cops smelled burnt marijuana coming from the car. Detectives saw a blunt inside. Upshur tried to cover it with his arm. Upshur was told to show his hands and ordered out of the car. He swung at an officer and a struggle ensued until he was finally subdued. A detective broke a bone in his hand during the scuffle. Upshur was hit with multiple charges, including aggravated assault on law enforcemen­t, while Dockery faces drug charges after cops found Ecstasy, Molly, pot and a digital scale.
