Graduation destinations abound at Trenton train station
Months of May and June mean graduation which makes Trenton Transit Center a major traveling hub.
Many Trentonian area young adults attend colleges and universities in other states.
John Giordano, of Yardley, Pa., his wife, Gina, and her parents Rita and John Warren, stopped at Trenton Transit Center on Thursday.
“Headed to Boston for my daughter Christina’s graduation at Boston University,” Giordano said.
Giordano, CEO of First Heritage Mortgage Services, in Trevose, Pa., admired my Transpot early-morning assignment.
First Heritage has business interests with 104 credit unions in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
“I travel a lot now,” said Giordano. “So, whether it’s airports, train stations or whatever, I enjoy watching people. People are interesting.”
Giordano developed credibility as a talented golfer when he membered at Trenton CC and Yardley CC.
Giordano has won five mens club championships at Northampton Valley.
“Older and smarter. I know what I can and cannot do,” Giordano reasoned.
“But I miss those days and guys at Trenton. We had such a great nucleus of good people. And Yardley? Teeing it up against those great players made for amazing competition and memories.”
