Marion Glover Jr. of Ewing

Marion “Buddy” Glover, Jr., 70 of Ewing, NJ departed this life on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.

Born in Branchville, SC, Marion was a resident of the Trenton area for most of his life. He was graduate of Trenton Central High School.

He was employed as the Supervisor of Housekeeping for Jersey City State College, Jersey City, NJ for over 20 years. He was also formerly employed by Federated Metal and JCL Building Maintenance.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Eggerts Crossing, Lawrenceville, NJ where he served as a member of the Trustee Board.

Predeceased by his parents, Marion Glover, Sr., Helen Glover and Byers Odell Baxter; a sister, Dell Elizabeth Carter and his grandparents, Jaris Wofford Barton and Lily Mayo Matthews surviving are his wife of 41 years, Carolyn Wheeler Glover; a daughter and son-in-law, Nneka Glover Lopez (Larry); two grandchildren, Nehki and Niomi Glover; nine brothers and four sisters; Wilbert Glover (Paulette Saunders), Floretta Glover-Richardson (Johnnie), Don Glover, Carl Glover (Sharon), Larry Glover (Cheryl), Patricia Simpkins (James), Gregory Glover (Patricia), Claude Tucker, Rosalind Willard (Woodrow), Tyrone Johnson, Wayne Baxter (Stephanie), Linda Baxter, Byers Baxter; one sister-in-law; Patricia Sturdivant Glover; two aunts, Dessie Kirkland and Sucedila Watson; three uncles, Curtis Glover (Joann), Ernest and Tom Baxter; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church of Eggerts Crossing 121 Hillcrest Ave Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Saturday from 9:00am to 11:00am at the church.

Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
