Judith (Judy) Rauch was born on March 13, 1942 in Glen Gardner RD (Port Colden), New Jersey to John Simoniz and Johanna Pletzer and passed away on May 25, 2018 in Farmington,

CT. Judy was raised in Port Colden. She proudly served as a WAC in the 1960s. In the 1970s-80s, she and her husband, Gustave, served as caretakers for Banater Hall on William Street in Trenton, NJ for 13 years. Upon her husband’s retirement from the City of Trenton, they moved to El Paso, TX, where she obtained her Medical Technician Certificat­ion and worked for MedPlus. In the 90’s, they moved to Odessa, Texas, and she came to live in Farmington, CT in 2014 to be closer to her daughter and grandson. Those who met Judy remember her for her warm smile, infectious laugh, kind heart, and generous spirit. She was well known for her crafting and embroidery work, and created many beautiful, cherished pieces. She was the last living sibling of her father’s 16 children. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Gustave M. Rauch, of Trenton, New Jersey. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie, and grandson, Christophe­r, of West Hartford, CT, and her son, William Morin, and daughter-in-law, Lumen, of Waipahu, Hawaii.
