Mayor Jackson, as his predecessor, giving jobs to unqualified people. People of Trenton should not be surprised, they gave the job of Mayor to an unqualified person. Trenton has a serious need for Reed.

I don’t mean all government employees, but there are a ton of unqualified people in government jobs. A whole bunch of them are voted into positions they are unqualified for.

Fixing potholes

Kudos to the Mercer County Road Department. Not only do they do a great snow removal job during winter time, but also during pot hole time. I called them this AM to see if they could fix the pot hole on Hamilton Avenue at the end of my driveway. The gentleman was very polite and said he would have someone come out and look at it. Well when I drove out about an hour after I called, the pot hole was fixed. Now that’s good service. Thanks a bunch.

You clearly don’t live in Trenton.

The cynic in me thinks that’s coincidence though. That pothole was likely scheduled to be fixed the same day you called.

Tender Hearts

My dearest Ed, would you be so kind as to put the Tender Hearts number and the hours in the paper? I can’t seem to find them. I’d really appreciate it because I have a lot of really nice clothes that I’d like to bring they’re all ironed and pressed and clean. Thank you so much. Love your column. — Barb
