Cutting The Ex: Iwona Watson, 28, was charged with aggravated assault after cops responded to the first block of Anderson Street. Patrol officers were dispatched for a disturbance but didn’t find anybody inside when they got to the residence. No one came to the door so cops searched the home without luck. Cops later learned a man got cut after an argument with his ex-wife. The argument was over watching the children. Watson allegedly brandished a knife as the ex-husband took it away. She got another knife and slashed him three times before fleeing the residence. Watson was arrested, and cops recovered the knives. Not Exactly An Angel: Angel Padilla-Colon, 38, was hit with several charges, including aggravated assault, after cops responded to the 300 block of Morris Avenue. A Spanish-speaking group flagged down cops who discovered a gruesome scene. Blood on the front of the home near the porch led into the residence as cops, with their guns drawn, found Padilla-Colon inside the home. PadillaColon wad ordered to the ground, and he gave himself up without a fight. PadillaColon had blood on his hands and was treated by first responders. The cops determined Padilla-Colon and the victim, a roommate, argued earlier in the day.

Padilla-Colon was drunk when they got home and the fight escalated into a physical confrontation. The men fist-fought when Padilla-Colon allegedly pulled out a knife. The victim tried to disarm the assailant, grabbing at the blade and cutting his hands. Cops recovered the kitchen knife with a black handle. Wilson allegedly assaulted his mother by throwing scalding water on her following a fight over cleaning. Wilson allegedly threatened to kill his mom during fight and broke her cell phone. She was treated for first-degree burns at the hospital. Wilson was also charged with child endangerment because the water was thrown in the direction of the child. It was unclear whether the young child was Wilson’s sibling. When cops got to the home, Wilson ran into the house and slammed the door and took off out the back door. Cops chased him toward through backyards to Oak Lane but lost sight of him. Warrants were issued, and he was arrested this week.

Gun: Cory Owens, 38, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon as well as other gun and drug offenses. Cops confiscated a .38 five-shot revolver. The gun was recovered after street crime detectives patrolling Calhoun Street stopped a taxi for a motor vehicle violation in which Owens was a passenger. He tried to hide two plastic bags on the floor near his feet. Police officers also recovered 475 bags of heroin.
