Richard James Zoilkowski, passed away on June 16, 2018 at the age of 70; Hamilton Twp., NJ.

Born in Bristol

Twp., PA, he lived in Washington Crossing, PA for most of his childhood, and was then raised in Washington Twp., (Robbinsvil­le) NJ by his aunt and uncle after his parents passed away when he was very young.

Richard proudly served as a US Marine and Vietnam Veteran and was a talented Union Carpenter with Millwright Local 715 for over 25 years. He loved baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox and was a coach for the Allentown Little League for a short time. Richard also loved NASCAR racing, going to classic car shows and working on cars. He enjoyed riding his bike, fishing, reading and working with his hands. He had an amazing memory, especially for historical events.

Son of the late Casmir and Rose Liszewski Zoilkowski, he was predecease­d by his aunt and uncle who raised him, Benjamin and Stella Liszewski Ponczek, three siblings, Stanley, Shirley and Barbara Zoilkowski and three brothers-in law, William and Edwin Diefenbach and Byron Flock, who was like a brother to him.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Louise Eva Zoilkowski (nee Diefenbach); his daughters, Jennifer Puca and her husband David and Jessica Zoilkowski and her boyfriend Joseph Wolstenhol­me; his granddaugh­ter, Josephina Rose Puca; brother, Walter Zoilkowski; sister and brother-in-law, Betti and David Tyndale; nephew, Jason Tyndale and his wife Michelle; his cousins who were like his siblings, Benjamin and Sally Ponczek, Nancy and Carrol Schiavone and Susan and David Maruska; his sisters-in-law and brothers-inlaw, Lois Diefenbach, Donald and Joan Diefenbach, Charlotte Flock, Dorothy and Richard Bradley, LeRoy and Betty Diefenbach and James and Leanne Diefenbach; his very special, life-long friend, Chuck Lukowski; as well as many special aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Burial in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery will be private.
