Constantin­e Foundos, 90, of Mercervill­e, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Compassion­ate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.

Born in Staten Island, New York, Mr. Foundos was a longtime resident of Mercervill­e, NJ. He was a parishione­r of Our Lady of SorrowsSt. Anthony Parish, Holy Name Society, Mercer County Holy Name Federation, VFW Post #3525 and Pre-Columbian Society of Philadelph­ia. Mr. Foundos proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 19501956. He was a loving husband, father, grandfathe­r, great-grandfathe­r and uncle who will be deeply missed. Predecease­d by his parents, Nicholas and Catherine (Chariton) Foundos; his wife, Angelina Esparza Foundos; and his brothers, Athan, Panos and John Foundos; he is survived by his children, Stephen, Patricia, and Charles and his wife, Karen; granddaugh­ters, Jillian (Bryan) and Colleen (Brandon); greatgrand­children, Logan and Bryar; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.

Funeral services will begin on Friday, June 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 22, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, 3816 East State St. Extension, Hamilton, NJ 08619.

Committal services will begin on Monday, June 25, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel in North Hanover Township, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons may be made in Connie’s memory to Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, 3816 East State Street Extension, Hamilton, NJ 08619 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
