Constantine Foundos of Mercerville, NJ
Constantine Foundos, 90, of Mercerville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born in Staten Island, New York, Mr. Foundos was a longtime resident of Mercerville, NJ. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of SorrowsSt. Anthony Parish, Holy Name Society, Mercer County Holy Name Federation, VFW Post #3525 and Pre-Columbian Society of Philadelphia. Mr. Foundos proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict from 19501956. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle who will be deeply missed. Predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Catherine (Chariton) Foundos; his wife, Angelina Esparza Foundos; and his brothers, Athan, Panos and John Foundos; he is survived by his children, Stephen, Patricia, and Charles and his wife, Karen; granddaughters, Jillian (Bryan) and Colleen (Brandon); greatgrandchildren, Logan and Bryar; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, June 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 22, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, 3816 East State St. Extension, Hamilton, NJ 08619.
Committal services will begin on Monday, June 25, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel in North Hanover Township, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Connie’s memory to Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, 3816 East State Street Extension, Hamilton, NJ 08619 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
