Genevieve Ossowski, 86, of Hamilton

Genevieve Ossowski, 86, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her son’s home surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Trenton, she was a lifetime Hamilton area resident. Genevieve was a proud country girl and spent many years working on the family farm. She owned and operated Yardville Florist for many years and was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Church in Allentown. Genevieve loved being active; she enjoying taking trips to Atlantic City and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She was devoted to her family and was a loving mother and grandmother.

Daughter of the late Sterling and Victoria Slivonik; she was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Edward F. Ossowski, Sr. Genevieve is survived by her children, Marilyn and Phil Oliver, Teresa and Michael Pustay, Edward Jr. and Margie Ossowski and William and Lori Ossowski; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and her special friend Ria Marinos.

Funeral service will be held 12 p.m. on Thursday, June 28th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Friends may call Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
