Elizabeth L. Manness nee
Festa, 90, of Bordentown, NJ entered into God’s eternal rest on Tuesday, June
26, 2018 at the
Clare Estate in Bordentown, NJ. Born and raised in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. She was employed as a baker’s helper at Italian Peoples Bakery in Trenton for 25 years. Elizabeth was a hard worker who loved to bake cakes for every family member on their birthday. They were called Nana cakes. She was an excellent cook who made delicious meatballs. She loved to clean, and would even clean up her grandchildren’s rooms. Elizabeth loved nothing more than being surrounded by her loving family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Sylvester and Rose (Aita) Festa; wife of the late George Manness; mother-in-law to the late William Adams; sister of the late Fred, Pat, and Benjamin Festa, Nello Milardo, Angeline Calla, Chris Bryzinski, Frances Bentz, Mildred Svacak, and Mary Bontya; Elizabeth is survived by her loving daughter Sheila Adams; three granddaughters, Colleen and husband Craig Hook, Heather and husband Michael Ollendorf, and Lindsay and husband Chay Jenkins; six beloved great grandchildren, Nolan, Hayden, and William Hook, Michael Ollendorf, Maeve and Baylor Jenkins; three siblings, Mamie Beltran, Ann Papp, and Joseph Festa and wife Maria; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Raphael’s R.C. Church, 3500 So. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may call Saturday morning from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 WhitehorseMercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
