Trenton
Attemped Murder: Shatwan Liverman, 21, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and weapons offenses in connection with a shooting last month. He was also hit with multiple conspiracy charges stemming from the June 21 shooting on the 200 block of North Willow Street, where two people were shot. Cops established probable cause for the arrest of Liverman, who was taken into custody on the 500 block of West Ingram Avenue.
Rob Job: Unique Hazel, 31, was arrested and charged with robbery after he was picked up by the U.S. marshals fugitive task force on the 100 block of Coolidge Avenue. The incident happened May 24, when officers were flagged down by a woman in the parking lot of police headquarters. She told them Hazel, her boyfriend, confronted her on Perry Street. He punched and pushed her to the ground, jacking her cell phone. An arrest warrant was issued for Hazel, who was arrested this week.
Drugs: Hakeem Fuller, 27, was arrested and hit with drug charges following an investigation by police on the 800 block of Stuyvesant Avenue, where street crime detectives saw Fuller walking between two abandoned properties. They stopped to investigate and saw Fuller shove something into his pants. He was found to have a warrant out for him and arrested on site. He was found with 5 grams of crack cocaine and 12 grams of marijuana along with $16 in cash. Further investigation led cops to seizure of another 42 grams of crack cocaine and packaging material.
Winslow Township
Stabbing: Kiante Collins, 29, of Camden, was arrested and charged with attempted murder following an incident at the Tamerlane Apartment on Friday morning. Cops found the victim bleeding profusely from the abdomen and administered first aid. Collins, who had a relationship with the victim, was identified as the perpetrator and arrested at the scene. He was being held at the Camden jail.
Montgomery Township
Pot bust: On Thursday, police arrested Christopher Montoya, 22, of Princeton after responding to a parking lot on River Birch Circle for a suspicious man sleeping in a vehicle. Police encountered Montoya, who smelled of raw marijuana inside his vehicle. Cops saw and recovered a small amount of marijuana in plain view. A mason jar full of raw marijuana was found inside the vehicle. Montoya was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released with a municipal court date.
Mendham Township
Burglaries: Cops are investigating a pair of burglaries that happened July 17, 2018, between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., at residences in the Cobblefield Drive and Tempe Wick Road and the Washington Valley Road Area. Cops are looking for a gray four-door sport utility vehicle to determine if it is involved in the burglaries. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact CrimeStoppers or the Mendham Township Police at 973-543-2581. Police have asked residents in these areas to check their camera systems during these times and notify the department if they see anything suspicious.
Doylestown
Con-struction Man:
Home improvement contractor John Pratt, 45, of Oreland, was charged with cheating customers out of more than $87,000 by not completing nine jobs for which he had been paid. He is also accused of writing seven bad checks worth about $10,000 to seven material suppliers or service providers. Pratt was arraigned on nine felony counts each of home improvement fraud, deceptive or fraudulent business practices, theft by deception and receiving stolen property, as well as misdemeanor counts of theft by deception and bad checks. His bail was set at $500,000 with a preliminary hearing set for Aug. 3. Pratt, who owned t Pratt’s Complete Home Renovations & Upgrades LLC, began ripping people off in 2015 authorities said.
