Gun and Heroin: Tyriq Palmer, 26, was charged with drug and weapons offenses over the weekend after police allegedly found a handgun and 415 decks of heroin inside a car. Officials say police received a tip about the car containing a weapon and drugs, so cops searched and found the vehicle in the 400 block of Garfield Avenue. Officials say Palmer was standing next to the vehicle, and that he ran when cops started asking him questions. After a brief chase, cops tackled Palmer onto the ground, during which time he allegedly kneed an officer in

the stomach. Palmer is also charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest.

Coke Bust: Jose Baquedano, 52, was arrested after police interrupte­d an alleged drug deal on Ward avenue and found him in possession of 32 grams of cocaine and $1,610, which was seized as suspected proceeds from drug sales.

Pill and Cash: Jammie Wiggins,

26, was arrested over the weekend after police allegedly found a stun gun and an Endocet pill lying in plain view inside his car. Officials say detectives from the Street Crimes Unit were patrolling Girard Avenue when they noticed five people gambling on the porch of an abandoned house. Police say Wiggins was wanted in connection with outstandin­g warrants, and that his car was parked across the

street from where he was gambling. Police also seized $3,149 from Wiggins as suspected proceeds from drug sales. Cops towed the car to TPD headquarte­rs for further investigat­ion. The other four people were issued summonses for defiant trespassin­g and gambling.

Burglary: Amir Baker, 19, Keith Coney, 29, and Carlos gaston, 28, were arrested over the weekend after

police allegedly caught them stealing copping piping out of a vacant property in the 100 block of Hewitt Street. They are each charged with burglary and theft.

Sex Offender: James H. Womack, 45, was arrested over the weekend after being five months late to register as a sex offender.

Heroin and Driving: Kristen Bartolone, 28, of Dayton, was arrested after police allegedly found heroin, prescripti­on drugs, and hypodermic needles during a car stop on Route 130.

Heroin Bust: Marissa Esposito, 32, of Hamilton, was arrested after police

allegedly found heroin and drug parapherna­lia during a traffic stop on Main Street.

Pill Bust: Dominic Riggs and Brent Gorcott 2nd, both 18 years old, were arrested for possession of prescripti­on pills during a traffic stop on Route 130.

More Heroin: Alyssa Beider, 31, of Manahawkin, was arrested after police allegedly found heroin and drug parapherna­lia during a traffic stop on I-195.

Pot and Open Alcohol: Dominique MartinezMo­rton, 20, of Parlin, was arrested after police allegedly found marijuana and an open container of alcohol during a traffic stop on Route 130.
