Trenton
Suspicious Fire: A Trenton firefighter suffered first- and second-degree burns to both feet and knees while helping to extinguish a blaze inside a vacant home. Officials say members of TFD were battling a blaze in the 200 block of Pearl Street around 10:40 p.m. Monday when the firefighter made his way to the second floor and suffered burns. He was treated at the hospital and later released with non-life-threatening injuries. Officials say the fire is suspicious in nature, as the home has been vacant for some time. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Bucks County, PA.
Retail Fraud: Kerri Hanson, 26, of Perkasie, was arrested in connection with a fraudulent return at Kohl’s department store. She is charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
Domestic Violence: Tykee Copeland, 35, was arrested
for allegedly assaulting an ex-girlfriend and stealing her property. Witnesses told police Copeland forced entry into the woman’s home and assaulted her, before stealing her phone. He fled the house before police arrived. Officials say Copeland was on furlough with the Montgomery County Correctional Facility, so cops were able to track him via GPS monitoring. Copeland is charged with burglary, simple assault, robbery, trespassing and harassment.
Refusal to Leave: Nichole Giunta, 41, was arrested after refusing to leave the business of a previous employer.
Fake Money Drug Bust: Jeffrey McElhaugh, 41, was arrested after police raided a home on Dukes Way in
Lower Southampton and found narcotics, drug paraphernalia and counterfeit U.S. currency. McElhaugh is charged with forgery and drug offenses.
Attempted Luring: Kenneth Winn, 51, from Langhorne, was arrested for allegedly trying to lure young girls to his vehicle. Officials say he was in the Lower Makefield Shopping Center when he asked them to come to his vehicle and assist him with his cellphone. The girls declined and left the area. A short time later, officials say, a similar vehicle was seen near one of the girls’ homes. So, the family called police. Detectives combed the area and watched video from surveillance cameras to identify Winn as the suspect. Winn is charged with attempted luring, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
Grocery Theft: Danielle Manning, 33, was charged with retail theft after she allegedly stole $1,000 worth of merchandise from Wegmans.
Armed Robbery: Shawn Gallagher, 21, was recently arrested for allegedly robbing a Sellersville Gulf Station at gunpoint.
Heroin Bust: Brian Fitzpatrick, 38, was arrested for drug offenses after police allegedly found him lying on the ground, partially in the street, in the 1100 block of Cushmore Road in Upper Southampton Township. Officials say Fitzpatrick was under the influence of narcotics, and that he had Suboxone and heroin in his pockets.
