TRENTON » A city man was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly pointed a loaded gun at an off-duty cop who was flagged down by two other people whom were loitering for drugs.

Raheen Clark, 28, was charged with aggravated assault on law enforcement and weapons offenses after he allegedly pointed a 9mm handgun at Officer Freddy Jimenez and said, “What the f**k are you going to do?”

Officials say Clark made the threat after Jimenez used his flashlight to illuminate a porch in the 400 block of Liberty Street, where Clark was sitting.

It’s unclear whether Clark knew Jimenez was a cop. Officials say Jimenez was driving his personal vehicle to an off-duty job around 3:15 a.m. Saturday, and that Clark may not have seen his police uniform.

While Jimenez was driving through the block, officials say, two other people flagged him down. Police say the duo may have flagged him down to purchase drugs, or they may have tried to set him up to be robbed. Regardless, Jimenez stopped his car and noticed a couple other people on a porch. Believing he may have interrupted early morning drug activity, Jimenez rolled down his car window to tell the group to leave the area.

Jimenez then turned on his flashlight to gain a better glimpse of what was happening, and that’s when Clark allegedly pointed a handgun and yelled at the officer.

Jimenez then jumped out of his car and held all four people at gunpoint until backup arrived.

In addition to the assault and weapons offenses, Clark was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after cops recovered a digital scale during the arrests.

The pair that flagged down Jimenez — identified as Michelle Miller, 29, and 24-yearold Davon Powell, — were each charged with loitering to commit a drug offense.

Marlon Marinnie, 29, was arrested in connection with an outstanding warrant but was not charged with a new offense.
