Vehicular Homicide: Henry Arevalo-Martinez, 40, has been charged with vehicular homicide in connection with the death of 31-year-old Kenneth McRae, who died after a head-on crash on Route 29 Saturday night.

Domestic Violence: Tyrone Jones, 36, was arrested for allegedly hitting an exgirlfriend in the head with an object as she returned home with a friend. The victim told police she and a friend returned to Colonial Avenue around 4:30 a.m., and that Jones emerged from the shadows and hit her in the head with a pipe or a stick. Jones then pulled the woman’s hair, officials say, and grabbed her by the neck. He eventually fled after realizing the victim’s friend was calling police. Cops later arrested him at his house.

Drug Bust: Ronda Stevens, 49, and Samir Queen, 20, were arrested after police allegedly seized MDMA and marijuana during a investigation on Hart Avenue. Police also seized $114 from Queen as suspected proceeds from drug sales.

Robbery: Jose Sotelo, 27, was arrested for allegedly robbing a man who was passed out drunk lying on the sidewalk. The victim told police he was drunk when he fell asleep on the sidewalk in front of a bar in the 500 block of Hamilton Avenue.

When he awoke, the victim saw someone - identified as Sotelo - searching through his pants pocket. The victim told cops he tired to stop the suspect from taking his money, but Sotelo punched him in the face several times and ran. The victim then went to the hospital and police were notified about the robbery. Cops later arrested Sotelo in the same area as where the robbery happened, according to police who say he had approximately $500 in cash on him at the time of the apprehension.

Cocaine and Pills: Issac Jamar Fisher, 19, and Breon Phelps, 18, were arrested after police seized crack cocaine and prescription pills during a traffic stop on Perry Street. Officials say cops initially encountered the pair after seeing Fisher driving carelessly. Police say the duo jumped out of the car and tried to quickly walk away when they saw cops, which lead to police searching them and finding the drugs.

Gun Arrest at House Party: Rodney Simmons, 18, was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly tossed a gun during a house party on Centre Street. Officials say cops were sent to the house after receiving a loud noise complaint and noticed a crowd gathered outside the house. Simmons was huddled with another man identified as Qymir Robinson, according to cops who say the pair quickly walked away when they saw police in the area. Officials say Simmons was holding a handgun as he walked away, so cops jumped out of their car and followed him. Police say Simmons refused several commands to stop and show his hands, but refused and walked into the house where people were partying. A cop followed Simmons into the house, officials say, and saw him toss the gun onto the kitchen floor. Police recovered the loaded .380 caliber handgun and charged Simmons with weapons offenses and resisting arrest. Robinson is charged with obstructing the administration of law and maintaining a public nuisance because the party was being held at his house.

Sex Assault: Carlos Ruano, 40, was arrested for allegedly touching a 12-year-old girl in an inappropriate manner. Police say the victim knows Ruano.
