Harry DeBonis,

61 of Hamilton has been accepted into God’s loving embrace on Sunday,

July 29, 2018. Born in Trenton, Harry had been a lifelong area resident who enjoyed baseball, going to flea markets, photograph­y, checking out the buys and sells on Ebay, and enjoying his Dunkin Donuts coffee. More importantl­y, Harry had a passion for his family, spending quality time with his wife and children. Harry had a heart of gold, a great sense of

humor, and is well respected and admired in the baseball community. He retired from the State of New Jersey Department of Correction­s after dedicating 33 years and most recently worked for Allied Universal Security Services.

Harry is predecease­d by his parents; Anthony and Mildred DeBonis. Left to cherish his wonderful memory is his loving wife of over 34 years, Joann DeBonis, caring sons, Anthony DeBonis (Sara), and Steven Debonis (Lauren), and brother; Anthony DeBonis (Debbie) He will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends, as well as Barkley, Cali, Maverick, and Riley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday; August 1, 2018, 10:30am at the Immaculate Conception Church, 540 Chestnut Avenue, Trenton NJ 08611. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday morning from 7:00am-10:00am the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, 990 South Broad Street (Rte 206), Trenton NJ 08611 (parking facility and handicap access located directly behind the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectful­ly requests memorial contributi­ons to be made in his honor to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals via website at www.aspca. org/donate or by phone at 1-800-628-0028. Arrangemen­ts under the auspices of David C. Chiacchio and the dedicated staff of the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home.
