Daylight Shooting: Three males were shot Wednesday afternoon near the intersection of St. Joe’s and Girard avenues. Officials say surveillance video shows that two males walked up to the trio, whom were sitting on a stoop next to a bodega, and opened fire. As the group fled, police say, one of the victims was hit by a vehicle trying to flee the area as well. Police say the man flipped onto the hood of the car, rolled off and kept running toward a nearby park. All three victims later walked into the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. One victim suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder, another was shot in the leg, and the third male was shot in the arm and thigh.

Tight Jeans Heroin Bust: Shaheem Brown, 32, was arrested after police allegedly found him in possession of 20 decks of heroin. Police say detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit saw Brown walking on Coolidge Avenue around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, and that he tried to shove drugs in his pocket when he saw cops. Officials say Brown was wearing tight skinny jeans, which prevented him from fully placing the drugs in his pocket. So, when cops stopped him, officials say, packets of heroin were sticking out of his pants. City Raid: Donshique McNeil, 25, and Larry Tucker, 51, were arrested around 6 a.m. Tuesday when police concluded a two-month drug investigation by raiding Tucker’s Pennington Avenue home. Officials say Tucker was the target of a heroin distribution investigation that revealed he sold drugs out of his house. When police raided the home, officials say, cops found a brick of heroin and more than $1,000 in a safe. Cops also found cocaine and marijuana openly scattered throughout the house, according to police who say two kids ages 5 and 10 were in the home along with their guardian, identified as McNeil. Tucker and McNeil are both charged with endanger the welfare of children as well as drug possession and distribution offenses. The investigation and subsequent raid was conducted by members of TPD, NJSP and the county sheriff’s office. Child Protection and Permanency has placed the kids in protective custody. Gun Arrest: Harry Hampton, 25, was arrested after police allegedly found him in possession of a .32 caliber revolver loaded with hollowpoint bullets. Officials say cops encountered Hampton on Sweets Avenue after he emerged from the rear of an abandoned house and grabbed his pocket upon seeing police, which sparked further investigation.

Coke Busts: Jose Baquedano, 52, Sixto Irizarry, 53, and Feliza Perfecto, 43, were arrested during a surveillance operation on Ward Avenue that began as a result of an increase in street robberies and open-air drug deals. During the operation, officials say, detectives witnessed Baquedano engage in several drug deals. Officials say Baquedano repeatedly entered a house where the drugs were kept and then would deliver them to customers on the street. When cops moved in to arrest him, officials say, Baquedano threw suspected drugs into an alleged customer’s vehicle and walked away. A search of the house revealed more than 150 grams of cocaine. Cops also seized $1,613 from Baquedano as suspected proceeds. Perfecto was arrested during a motor vehicle stop after Baquedano allegedly handed her a bag during the surveillance. Police say the bag contained 15 grams of cocaine and $1,200, which was seized as well. Irizarry is accused of buying drugs from Baquedano. Police found him in possession of four baggies of cocaine and $1,400, which was seized too.
