Charmaine Williams of Lawrenceville
Charmaine English Williams, 90, of Lawrenceville, NJ passed away July, 22, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, NJ.
Born in Philadelphia, PA. She received her early education in the Trenton Public Schools, but did not receive her diploma until June 2001 at the age of seventy-three from the Daylight-Twilight Program.
She was employed by Trenton Psychiatric Hospital, Mill Hill Day Care, and she retired from St. Francis Hospital.
She was a lifelong member of St. Paul AME Church where she served on the Missionary Ministry.
Charmaine was the wife of the late John Williams, mother of the late Geneva Patricia (Williams) Christie, grandmother of the late John Christie, sister of the late Donald, Thomas, James, Herman, and Karl English, Helen Smith, Lillian (English) McGee, and Neota (English) Jackson, and many brother and sisterin-law’s, nieces and nephews. Charmaine leaves to mourn her death a daughter, Beatrice (Williams) Long, her grandchildren, James, Charmaine, Valerie (Christie) Richardson (Charles), Leonard Christie, Mavis Christie, and Andre and Kaneisha Long, twenty great-grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren, and a sister-in-law, Fonia Wilson.
Funeral service will be 11am Friday, August 3, 2018 at St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church, 1130 Lower Ferry Rd., Ewing, NJ. Calling hours will be 9am until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
