Dorothea (“Doris”) Charlotte Davis of Lawrence Twp, age

91 passed away August 1, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice.

Born in Penzing, Germany, Doris lived in the community for 57 years.

She was educated in the German school system. Mrs. Davis was employed as a housekeeper for over 25 years.

Throughout her years Doris was a member of Community Primitive Baptist Church of Lawrenceville, Beauty Grove Primitive Baptist Church of Trenton, Mt. Moriah Primitive Baptist Church of Glassboro, and St. Peters Primitive Baptist Church of Neptune.

Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years Samuel Lawrence Davis, her Son Manuel Harold Davis, granddaughter Ella Monica Jackson and grandson Anthony Jackson.

Mrs. Davis is survived by, daughters Marie Jackson (Mario), Dorothy(Bunny) King (Robert), sons Samuel Davis (Renee’), and Lawrence Michael Davis (Karen), a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Hughes Funeral Home 324 Bellevue Ave Trenton, N.J. 08618. Calling Hours will be from 9:00 until time of service until time of service at the funeral home.

Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery Newtown, PA.
