Heroin and Crack: Kalil Walker, 22, was arrested after police allegedly found him in possession of 10 decks of heroin, a small amount of crack cocaine and marijuana. Officials say cops were patrolling the 400 block of North Montgomery Street when they saw Walker pacing and staring at his phone. When he saw cops, officials say, Walker turned away and shoved something in his pants, sparking further investigation. Cops also seized $781 from Walker as suspected proceeds from drug sales.
Bat Attack: Stefanie Chambers, 33, was arrested after she allegedly hit her boyfriend in the head with a baseball bat. The victim told police he and Chambers were arguing when she grabbed an aluminum bat and broke a coffee table in the house. When he tried to take the bat from her, he said, she hit him in the head with it and fled in a car. The victim jumped in a separate car and followed her, police say, and cops encountered the pair near the intersection of William and Joseph streets in Hamilton, where Chambers ran out of gas. HPD arrived on scene and called TPD to assist in the investigation. Chambers is charged with aggravated assault and related weapons offenses. The victim suffered head swelling but refused medical attention.

Bucks County, PA.
Drug Dealing From Jail: A man with three prior drug trafficking convictions was sentenced last week to serve six to 15 years in state prison for dealing synthetic marijuana in the Bucks County Correctional Facility. Paul Stanley, 29, of Philadelphia, was sentenced after pleading guilty Aug. 9 to charges including possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of contraband by an inmate. Stanley had been serving a nine- to 23-month sentence for possession with intent to deliver drugs when he was caught on Dec. 29 with 69 packets of synthetic marijuana and $1,100 in cash at the county prison. Stanley explained to investigators that he was a “heavy smoker” of K-2 and had purchased it from another inmate for personal use. It was later determined that Stanley did not smoke K-2. The cash, Stanley told investigators, was money he was safeguarding for his wife, whom he said “overspends and shops online.” Stanley claimed his wife had brought him the money in $100 to $300 increments every two weeks to help them save for a house. Investigators also found a ledger and a stack of receipts in Stanley’s cell. He claimed to have kept it for the purpose of selling items to other inmates and loaning them money. When questioned by investigators, Stanley’s wife gave a very similar account. Stanley later admitted to coaching her on what to say. In addition to the prison sentence, Stanley was placed on 10 years of consecutive probation for the contraband charge.
