Louis A. Spena of Trenton

Louis A. “Lou” Spena, 62, of Trenton, NJ, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, Hamilton, NJ, surrounded by family.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong Trenton resident.

Pre-deceased by his parents Rocco and Assunta Vetrano Spena, he is survived by his sister, Dora Johnson, nephew, Christopher Johnson, niece, Amy Johnson, and brother-in-law, Timothy Johnson, and many lifelong friends who remained by his side during his recent illness.

Lou was a loving and caring son, brother, and uncle, who will be deeply missed and remembered for his kindness and loyalty to family and friends.

The funeral will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., from the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel, 1799 Klockner Road, Hamilton, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Angels, Saint Joachim Church, 20-50 Butler Street, Trenton. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton Twp., NJ.

Calling hours for family and friends will be on Monday morning, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel.
