Anne Marie Shanklin of Hamilton
Anne Marie Shanklin, 71, of Hamilton, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Shanklin retired from teaching at Langtree Elementary School in 2008. Her happiest times were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She enjoyed taking trips to the beach and Lancaster, PA. Anne Marie loved dancing, QVC shopping, riding roller coasters, and adored her cats, Rocky and Dakota.
Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Eleanor (Norton) Larkin; she is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mickie D. Shanklin; her children, Michael and Crystal Shanklin, Brian and Lauren Shanklin, and Jennifer and Erik Wilson; her grandchildren, McKenna, Riley, Noah, Dana, Samantha, Michael and Brandon; her several cousins, extended family and close friends.
Funeral services will begin on Monday, August 27, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Saul Colonial Home.
