Dr William R Beyer Jr. has been in practice for over 37 years in Mercer County. Beyer Eye Associates was established in January of 2014 with the addition of his two sons, Mark and Eric. We offer three locations; Mercerville New Jersey, Millstone New Jersey, across from the Jackson outlets, and Newtown Pennsylvania.
Our services include comprehensive eye care, surgery, glasses and contact lenses. The latest technology in ophthalmic testing is used for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye exams and dry eye. Patients now have the option of drop less eye exams with our non-dilating digital retinal camera (Optos) allowing the doctor to view more than 85% of your retina for routine visits.
Beyer Eye Associates is in the forefront of advancing technology. State of the art electronic medical records allow office visit summaries, prescriptions, and referrals readily available to the patient at the time of the visit. A myopic control program for halting near sightedness progression with the use of custom designed glasses and contacts are available. Cataract patients receive advanced technology lens implants for the treatment of astigmatism and extended depth of focus giving patients youthful vision. Patients have the option of several rejuvenating procedures for eyelid lifts and Botox. We have added True Tear which is a new way to increase natural tear production with user controllable neurostimulation without the use of drops or drugs. We are one of the few offices that are using electroretinography to detect subnormal function of the retina and optic nerve.
