Kumo Asian Bistro has the best food around

- — James Ye (Owner)

When I came to the U.S, I carried with me, a fatechanging mindset to strive for a better life.

However, what I experienced initially was not exactly as smooth sailing as what I had originally imagined. At the time, there was no turning back.

Not when the reality is constantly pushing us forward and away from the past.

I remember the first time I first opened up my restaurant; the phone did not ring from Grand Opening until noon. Not only that, there was not a single customer who stepped into the restaurant.

So, I decided to use the time and head to the supermarket next door. Even though the place was in close proximity, the destination felt far-reaching, with uncertainties and overwhelming anxieties flourish regarding the future.

But things took a huge turn after I came out of the shop. I saw customers flocking into my restaurant.

There was an almost indescribable joy that rushes towards me.

After all these years, my experiences can constitute a few important notes in my principle. That is, to deliver quality dishes that are fresh and tasty on top of providing pleasing services to each and every one we serve.

These are the true ingredients that will contribute to a restaurant’s success.

In the end, I always stand by my principle and ideology to attract even more customers.

I am thankful for all the individuals I have met over the years.
