Shooting: Two people were shot early Friday morning in the 1100 block of East State Street. The victims told police they were near a residence when they heard gunshots and saw a male wearing all black clothing and a mask firing in their direction. Gun Arrest: Antwyon Mottley-Weathers, 21, was arrested for weapons offenses Thursday evening after he allegedly tossed a backpack containing a loaded revolver onto the roof of a building in Kingsbury Square. Officials say a cop saw MottleyWeathers shirtless and carrying a backpack in the area of Cooper Street after citizens reported an armed man was walking around the neighborhood. Police say Mottley-Weathers was walking with the backpack in front of him with his hand in an unzipped compartment. When he saw cops, officials say, Mottley-Weathers slung the bag over his shoulder and ran when police ordered him to stop. Officials say cops ordered him to stop several times at gunpoint, and that he eventually threw the backpack atop a nearby roof and lied on the ground to surrender. Police used a ladder to access the roof and recover the backpack, which contained a gun that was previously stolen out of Feasterville, Pa.
Recovered Gun: Police found a handgun stashed in the first block of Cleveland Avenue while searching the area following an encounter with several people around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. No one was charged with possessing the weapon since cops could not determine ownership.
Bucks County, PA.
House Party Fake Gun Threat: Dylan Schuch, 19, and Edward Schuch, 18, were arrested after they assaulted a man and threatened to shoot him with a handgun that cops later learned was fake. Officials say the victim told the Schuches and their intoxicated friends to leave the house after finding them partying inside his residence. An argument ensued, officials say, resulting in the victim suffering minor injuries caused by the Schuches. During the encounter, cops say, Dylan pulled out a handgun and threatened to shoot the victim. Officials say the investigation revealed the weapon was an Airsoft replica of a Beretta handgun. The Schuches were charged with aggravated assault and related offenses.
Shoplifting: Alicia P. Gardener, 27, was arrested for allegedly stealing items from a grocery store on two separate occasions earlier this month.
Bad Checks: Richard Johnson, 53, was arrested for allegedly writing $3,700 worth of bogus check to a Feasterville business. Warrants were issued for his arrest after police investigated the bad checks, and cops found Johnson while investigating a traffic accident. Johnson was taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility since he was unable to post the $35,000 in bail a judge ordered.
Protection Order Violation: James McManus, 34, was arrested after police found him driving a car with a passenger who has a protection from abuse order against him. Cops encountered McManus during a traffic stop and learned that a judge had ordered him to stay away from a passenger in the car. McManus was taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility since he was unable to post bail.
