Solar in Hamilton?

Again Hamilton is giving away tax breaks to surrounding areas. Hamilton is willing to destroy numerous trees, which help control runoff and flooding by letting Synnergy LLC install 11,614 ground mounted solar panels on virgin land.

Residents who live in the area express concern over flooding in the last number of years due to the surrounding Assunpink Creek and Miry Run.

Also, the number of animal that will be displaced upon removal of the fauna.

Why don’t they just purchase it under Green Acres and leave it alone. Since Ewing and Lawrenceville are the ones getting tax relief let them build it over there.

I don’t honestly know enough about this to have an opinion, but I am interested to see what the environmental impact studies say. The developers clearly think zero impact, the opponents seem to think total disaster. The truth, as usual, likely lies somewhere in the middle.
