Mercer County Parks

-

It seems to me there is a pattern emerging about Mercer County Park employees and their dissatisfaction and unhappiness with the Park’s leadership. I don’t know, but could there be some nepotism involved? Over the years, the Trentonian has done some really good investigative reporting on an array of issues. I think this one is worthy of consideration. — Lifetime Mercer County resident

The issue is on our radar, but so far we have anonymous complaints here, but little substantiated recently (there has already been reporting of nepotism in the county in the past). I’m not saying it’s not happening, but if people have evidence and want to talk to our reporters, they should call the newsroom or email a reporter. — Ed Note

Trenton city council

City council members need to start acting like adults and try to get their jobs done. Maybe we City residents and taxpayers shouldn’t give them our votes next time. — A reader

That’s the ultimate way to get city leaders who do what people want and need them to do, hold them accountable. Call them and talk to them too. If they get feedback from residents, that often plays into the decision making process. If that doesn’t work, vote for someone you do support, or run for office yourself.
