Stolen Auto: Ibnmaalik Bingham, 34, was arrested after police allegedly found him in the driver’s seat of a stolen vehicle near the intersecti­on of Federal and Lamberton streets. Officials say detectives from the Street Crimes Unit were patrolling that area due to complaints of open-air drug dealing when they saw a 2004 Subaru leaving a bar in the area. The driver of that car, later identified as Bingham, saw cops and immediatel­y pulled over and parked several feet from the curb, prompting police to further investigat­e. Police say the car was previously reported stolen out of Ewing, so Bingham

was charged with receiving stolen property. Aggressive Panhandlin­g: Jeffery Williams, 43, was arrested for aggressive panhandlin­g on Route 1near Warren Street. Police say he was also wanted in connection with an outstandin­g warrant. “We’re definitely cracking down on aggressive panhandler­s,” Lt. Darren Zappley said. Domestic Violence: Sheik Moore, 25, was arrested after he allegedly assaulted the mother of their child. The victim told police Moore started an argument over the phone, then later showed up at her house, where it continued. When the woman pushed Moore to leave the house, officials say, he ripped out a chunk of her hair, punched her in the face and then strangled her to the point where she couldn’t breathe. Moore eventually released the woman and fled before cops arrived. Warrants were issued for his arrest and he was picked up Tuesday. $4Robbery: Police are searching for a group of young men who robbed two people in the Chambersbu­rg section of the city. The victims told cops they were near the intersecti­on of Elmer and Hudson streets when four people between the ages of 17and 20approach­ed them and asked for money. When the victims said they didn’t have any money, one of the suspects then pulled out a black handgun and demanded cash. The victims turned over $4to the robbers, who then fled on foot.

Barber Shop Burglary: Cops are searching for a man who burglarize­d a city barber shop and stole a register containing cash. Police say surveillan­ce video recorded the man using a stick to shatter the shop’s first-floor window around 4 a.m. Wednesday. The man then rummaged through drawers for more than 30 minutes before fleeing with the loot. “He left through the window with the cash register,” Lt. Darren Zappley said. The business owner told police the register contained a few hundred dollars. Anyone with informatio­n about the burglary is asked to email dzappley@ trentonpol­ice.net.

Hopewell

Laid-Off Angry: John Gillom, 36, of Trenton, was charged after he allegedly overturned two deep fryers and broke several items in the kitchen of a business on American Boulevard. Police say he used to work at the business and tossed the kitchen after being fired. He is charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Drugs and Driving: Jaherah Jones, 25, of Keyport, was arrested after police found marijuana during a crash investigat­ion on American Boulevard.

Falls, PA.

Suspicious Death: Police are investigat­ing the suspicious death of a woman who was found half in and out of a parked car on Pinewood Drive around 1:15 p.m. Thursday. The woman was deceased on arrival. The cause of death was not known as of press time.
