Ruth E. DeGrange, 88, of Titusville, died peacefully at home in her sleep. Born in Trenton, she was a graduate of Hamilton High West in 1948. She began her career working for the State of NJ. She and her husband settled in Titusville to raise their five children. Many would remember her as “Red” their favorite waitress from Stage Depot for several years and “Natural Baby” after the restaurant closed. Most recently she had been a familiar face at the Pennington Pharmacy and Rite Aid. Ruth was a member of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Pennington. She will be missed as a regular at the Senior Center in Pennington. She was a diehard Phillies fan. Ruth was extremely proud of her grandchild­ren and supported them at their various activities.

Daughter of the late Harry L. and Florence Smallwood Dilts, wife of the late Carl R. DeGrange (1986) and sister of the late Harry Dilts, she is survived by her children, Gary and Brenda DeGrange, Lynne and Henry Muentener, Jr., Dale and Brenda DeGrange, Sue and Brian Pratt, Chris and Bill Naylor, 2 sisters, Dorothy Latini and Gladys Soffel, 2 brothers, Richard Dilts and Robert Dilts, Grandchild­ren, Kristen Paladino and her husband Jason, Allison Slocum and her husband Shawn, Jason Beaver, Breanne and Travis Pratt, Crystal Lanning and Justin, Jessica Lanning and her husband Kevin, Dale, Jamie and Shawna DeGrange, Great-grandchild­ren, Bennett and Nolan Paladino, Baylee Lanning, Blake Slocum and 3 on the way, a god daughter Patricia Latini Mains, many nieces and nephews, her brotherin-law Dale DeGrange, special friends Joyce and Robert Griffis.

Funeral services will be held Friday October 19th 11:00 a.m. at the WilsonAppl­e Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington. Burial will follow at Harbourton Cemetery. The viewing will be Thursday October 18th from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. Condolence­s are welcome at www. wilsonappl­e.com.
