5. People like Danni Allen, Jeremy Britt and John Rhode made this heavy NBC show, one which was cancelled in 2016 after 17 seasons, ironic since in fact they prevailed as winners.

6. For its altruism, this spinoff spent its nine seasons as a Parents Television Council favorite. Especially in 2006, when ABC housed a four-week specialty series called “After the Storm” and ratings went through the new roof.
