Domestic Violence: Fred Bryant, 45, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and preventing her from leaving the property where it occurred. Officials say he punched the woman in the face and body, then blocked the front door and pushed her back into the house, preventing her from leaving. Bryant is charged with assault and false imprisonment.
Burlington
Drug Bust: Four people were arrested earlier this month after police raided a home in the 200 block of Broad Street in Beverly City. During the investigation, police determined that Derrick Bell, 27, was distributing crack cocaine from his residence. Three other people living at the Broad Street residence were arrested for disorderly persons offenses. Whitney Mercantini, 30, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Charles Tallmadge, 57, is charged with maintaining a nuisance, and Cindy Tallmadge, 57, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a nuisance. Police say the Tallmadges allowed Bell to live with them and sell drugs from the house. Bell is charged with numerous drug distribution offenses.
Bucks County, PA.
Sex Offender: Charles Barry Fernandes, 61, a registered tier-1 sex offender, was arrested for failing to register his address with state police as required by law. A judge set his bail at 10 percent of $500,000.
Shady Sider: Warrants have been issued for the arrest of 36-year-old Clifford Washington who allegedly altered several building material receipts and supplier letterhead to appear as legitimate reimbursements for exterior siding needed for the job he was contracted to do. Officials believe Washington created the bogus bills and submitted them to his employer with the intention to receive a check. A check was issued to him in the amount of $4,368.22, which was then cashed through Washington’s contracting business, Chazac Inc. The contracted work was never completed and Washington has not returned telephone calls. Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the “Shady Sider.” Tipsters are asked to contact Detective Doug Heiduk at 215-357-1235 ext. 401. Or submit an anonymous tip. Shotgun Threat: Joseph Cramer, 46, was arrested after he allegedly pointed a loaded shotgun at someone and threatened to kill them. He is charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and related offenses. He was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after not being able to post $35,000bail. Scamming Wawa:
Cole Wilsey, a 20-year-old former Wawa employee, was arrested for stealing approximately $1,050 from the store. Officials say Wilsey voided transactions in order to take money from the register over a period of six weeks.
Surrender: Trejean Smith, 16, surrendered to Bensalem Police in connection with an active arrest warrant that was issued for a shooting that occurred in Creekside Apartments earlier this month. He was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $1,000,000 bail. Smith and his alleged accomplice, Emmanuel Rodriguez, are juveniles but they were charged as adults in this incident.
