PROGNOSTICATOR LIKES TRENTON ON ROAD IN PLAYOFFS

-

Following a 22-4 week, our high school football prognosticator is finally over the mandated .800 correct percentage for the week. With the playoffs set to get underway Friday night, the only Mercer County team projected to win in the playoffs this week is Trenton.

FRIDAY TRENTON at North Brunswick: Believe, Tornadoes, believe. North Brunswick hasn’t played a good team in six weeks.

Notre Dame at ST. AUGUSTINE: All you need to know is the Prep beat Rancocas Valley by 28 points. Northern Burlington at MIDDLETOWN SOUTH: Shore team should count its blessings NBC is still building up its program. Nottingham at HOLMDEL: There hasn’t been this much noise out of Holmdel since Slayer played at the PNC Arts Center.

Allentown at RED BANK REGIONAL: Redbird principal throws temper tantrum when she’s denied access to the sideline.

Shore at CINNAMINSON: This isn’t field hockey. Keyport at WILLINGBORO: How do you get in playoffs with a 3-5 record? Middlesex at FLORENCE: Flashes dedicate win to the legendary Lou Guadagnino. Maple Shade at PAULSBORO: Shaders had better bring extra oxygen masks to Cough City.

Eastern at RANCOCAS VALLEY: Big school football in South Jersey about as good as it gets.

Oakcrest at BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP: Who would ever thought Air Maderia team would morph into a defensive juggernaut. Council Rock South at TRUMAN: First home playoff game in Truman history has Bristol Township all fired up.

Haverford at NESHAMINY: You read it here first. Redskins are going to the district final.

Pennsbury at GARNET VALLEY: This would be a challenge for one of Pennsbury’s better teams.

SATURDAY HOLY CROSS at Immaculata: Only in New Jersey does a team get a home playoff game after being outscored, 143-7, in the last four weeks. PENNSAUKEN at Hamilton: Dr. Neil flies in to make sure his name is still on the Hamilton gym wall and watch the Steinert playoff game.

Hightstown at STEINERT: Baffled Dr. Neil crushed when he finds out this is actually a consolation game. Princeton at COLTS NECK: Home team is not good but. ...

Burlington City at KEANSBURG: Have you ever driven through Keansburg?

EGG HARBOR at Pemberton: Instead of sending troops to Mexican border, United States should put more resources into Fort Dix.

BRISTOL at Jenkintown: Bristol’s earlier loss to Drakes was a bit of a fluke. School of Future at CONWELL-EGAN: Eagles could score 80 if they wanted to be jerks about it.

St. Luke’s at PENNIGTON: Brandon West makes father and Pennsbury Hall of Famer Brian West proud. Lawrenceville at HILL: Dating back to 1887, did you know this is the fifth oldest football rivalry in the nation. PEDDIE at Blair: Falcons won’t elect to kick off twice this week.

SUNDAY Mercersburg at HUN: Won’t matter how many downs Hun’s opponent gets this week.

Last Week: (22-4) .823 Season: (186-45) .805
