Red Bank >> The sixth-seeded Allentown High football team went into the half of itsNJSIAA Central Jersey Group III tournament game tied, but eventually fell to thirdseeded Red Bank Regional, 30-13, on Friday night.

Makai Mickens had 123 yards rushing and two scores, while Nigel Mitchell chipped in 114 yards with two TDs for the winners. Rahsaan Emory paced the Redbirds, scoring both their touchdowns on a four-yard and one-yard run, respectively.

Davien Vernon got into the end zone on a six yard run in the win.

Ryan O’Connor added a TD run for the winners, who face top-seeded North Penn in the quarterfinals Nov. 9.
