Trenton
Stolen Auto: Maurice Williams, 20, was arrested over the weekend after police allegedly found him driving a stolen vehicle. Officials say he was initially stopped because the car had heavily tinted windows and fake license plates. Williams is charged with receiving stolen property.
Gun Arrest: Phillip Lewis, 36, was arrested after detectives from the Street Crimes Unit found him in possession of a handgun during a traffic stop. Officials say Lewis had a .40 caliber Smith and Wesson handgun in his waistband when cops stopped him for driving a vehicle with fake license plates and improper safety glass.
Gun Struggle: Michael Jennings, 36, was arrested after police found him in possession of a loaded handgun, 380 decks of heroin, six grams of crack cocaine and a digital scale. Officials say detectives from the Street Crimes Unit were patrolling when they saw two males staring into a bag near a Hamilton Avenue porch. When Jennings saw cops, officials say, he ran into a nearby home. After a brief struggle inside the property, officials seized the gun from Jennings’ waistband and found drugs and paraphernalia in the bag. Police also seized $1,210 as suspected proceeds from drug sales.
Hopewell
Missing Hood: Someone stole the hood off a vehicle that was parked in the lot at the hospital on Scotch Road. The loss is estimated at $1,000.
Auto Burglary: A computer and cell phone were stolen out of a vehicle parked on Reed Road. The loss is estimated at $693.
Lewdness: Nihal Shetty, 27, of Bethlehem Pa., was arrested after he was allegedly caught committing a lewd act inside his vehicle that was parked at the Stop & Shop on Denow Road.
Theft from Auto: Someone attempted to burglarize a vehicle that was parked at the hospital. The suspect broke the car’s window, causing approximately $325 worth of damage.
Lower Makefield, PA.
Theft from Auto: Two backpacks and a laptop were stolen out of unlocked vehicles parked in the 1100 block of Temple Drive.
Stolen Motorcycle Returned: A Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen out ot a locked garage located on Milton Drive, but was later returned to the driveway.
Missing Pumpkin: A wrought iron chair and a pumpkin were stolen from a porch on Austin Road.
Burglary: A camera and jewelry were stolen out of a home in the 500 block of Nottingham Drive. The suspect gained entry through a laundry room door.
