Giants OTs Nate Solder/Chad Wheeler vs. Bucs DE Jason Pierre-Paul: Pierre-Paul, a former Giant, is thriving in his first season in Tampa with eight sacks. He lines up on both sides of the field, so New York’s veteran left tackle and second-year right tackle will have their hands full. Wheeler is the bigger mismatch since he’s allowed 26 pressures this season — 14th-most in the NFL — according to Pro Football Focus. Giants RB Saquon Barkley vs. Bucs LBs: With all of Tampa’s starting linebackers injured, Barkley has a better chance to break a few explosive runs. The rookie is averaging 4.5 yards per carry but hasn’t topped the century mark since Week 6 against Philadelphia. Giants CB Janoris Jenkins vs. Bucs WR Mike Evans: A Second Team All-Pro two years ago, Jenkins has fallen off. PFF ranks him 75th among all corners. He’s allowed six touchdowns in nine games after allowing five in his first two seasons in New York. Evans is one of the NFL’s premier receivers and has 50 catches, 837 yards and four touchdowns.

Giants SS Landon Collins vs. Bucs TE O.J. Howard: Collins will be a key piece of the Giants’ defensive game plan against Howard, who is fifth among all tight ends with 487 receiving yards. Collins’ play in pass coverage ranks 14th among safeties, per PFF.
