Crack and Pot: Pernell Shannon, 37, was arrested after police allegedly found him in possession of a large quantity of crack cocaine and marijuana. Officials say cops encountere­d Shannon on Kirkbride Avenue, where they saw him walking and holding his waistband, which had a large bulge. Officials also seized $914 as suspected drug proceeds.

Flat Line Dope: William Thomas Mitchell, 30, was arrested after police allegedly found him in possession of 50 decks of heroin stamped with the brand “Flat Line.” Police say he also had a gram of crack cocaine in his pocket.

Assault by Auto: Tillie McCarthur, 50, was arrested after she allegedly ran over her boyfriend with his car during a dispute about the vehicle. Officials say the pair were arguing because McCarthur wouldn’t handover the keys, and that she hit him with the vehicle, causing him to fall on the ground. The man suffered a laceration to his hand and foot.

Gun and Pot: Anthony Bayshawn Ford, 32, was arrested after police allegedly found him sitting on a porch with a gun in his waistband. Officials say detectives from the Street Crimes Unit saw him sitting on a porch in the 800 block of East State Street, and that he jumped up and ran into the building when he saw cops. While running, he allegedly pulled the gun out of his waistband, police say, then tossed it before forcing his way into an apartment. Cops also found weed in his pocket during the arrest. Police also arrested Tommie Garvin, 28, Tariq Dennis, 26, and Madisson Gabrielle Fletcher, 22, after catching them smoking marijuana in the hallway of the building.

Weed and Popeyes: Dwayne Brooks, 40, and Deyon Robinson, 37, were arrested after police found 114 grams of marijuana inside a Popeye’s chicken bag. Officials say detectives were patrolling Thompson Street due to the recent murder that happened in the Wilbur section and saw Brooks and Robinson sitting inside an idling minivan. As cops got closer to the vehicle, they smelled pot, sparking further investigat­ion. When police searched the van, they found the marijuana inside the chicken bag.

Bat Attack: Thomas Pierce, 69, was arrested after he allegedly beat his roommate with an aluminum baseball bat. The victim told police he and Pierce were arguing when the dispute turned physical. Pierce allegedly hit the victim in the head with the bat. Officials say cops encountere­d the victim at a Chinese restaurant on Hermitage Avenue after citizens reported a bleeding man in the business. Police say the man was bleeding from a laceration on his head and a dog bite on his elbow. The victim required surgery and stitches. Pierce is charged with aggravated assault and related weapons offenses.

Jail for Robberies: Zeldrick Nance, 31, was sentenced Tuesday to 48 months in prison for robbing Metro PCS stores in Willingbor­o, Lumberton, and Levittown, Pennsylvan­ia, in September and October 2016. Nance and accomplice­s Rodney Day and Lisa Anderson previously pleaded guilty to the robberies.
