great anticipation. She was great in getting the Princeton transition game in gear.

TALIA SCHENCK, LAWRENCE >> This freshman broke on the scene in a big way as she scored five goals in the first game of her high school career. That was only the beginning as Schenck led the county with a schoolsbest 39 goals on the season. KELSEY FITHEN, HOPEWELL VALLEY >> A talented and tireless player, Fithen was invaluable to Hopewell Valley for her leadership, skill and knowledge of the game. The Sacred Heartbound senior scored 13 goals and added 11 assists. KENNEDY MUNSTER, ALLENTOWN >> Munster had a breakout senior season and scored a career-high 15 goals and provided seven assists to lead the Redbirds in goals and points. Always dangerous around the cage, Munster led by example and helped bring along the younger players.

ISABEL KINNEY, PRINCETON >> An offensive-minded midfielder, Kinney caged 14 goals and added five assists. Kinney was effective in the Little Tigers’ scheme and her stick-handling ability made her tough to defend.

MORGAN VACCARO, ALLENTOWN >> One of the grittiest players around, Vaccaro was always around the ball and making things happen for the Redbirds. She caged eight goals and had 11 helpers. A steady player, Vaccaro has the ability to change the game. MEL FLOWERS, NOTRE DAME >> One of the quiet leaders on the Irish, Flowers was just got the job down. Her play in the midfield was crucial to Notre Dame’s transition game and her play allowed the backs to be much more aggressive because of the support provided. GABRIELLAGOMEZ,HOPEWELL VALLEY >> One of the toughest defenders in the county and a player who rose to the occasion every time she was called upon, Gomez possessed a great game sense.

Grace Rebak, Princeton — Another of the younger players who showed they were ready to the challenges of varsity hockey. Just a freshman, Rebak’s play helped the Little Tigers notch eight shutouts. KATELYNROTH,ALLENTOWN>> It was the defense that set the tone for every game the Redbirds played, and Roth made them one of the toughest to challenge. There were many times it was the play of the defense that triggered the attack and Roth was always in the middle of the play.

AVA SCUDILLO, NOTRE DAME >> A staunch defender who always got the 50-50 balls, she never backed away from any challenge. A very coachable player, she displayed steady excellence on the field. GRACECOOKE,PRINCETON>> In her second year guarding the cage, Cooke stepped in and did a more than capable job to keep the Little Tigers as the best CVC team this season. Every goalie must forget the last play and always be ready for the next and Cooke was a ready goalie.
