Tommie Williams, 92, of Hamilton Township, NJ, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on December 5, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton Township, NJ. Born in Nesmith, SC, Tommie attended Brown Grade School in Nesmith, SC and obtained her High School Diploma at Morris College in Sumter, SC. Tommie retired from Monsanto Chemical Company in 1981 after 13 years and began working for the Hamilton Township Public School District, where she retired after 17 years of service. She was a member of the St. Phillips Baptist Church of Hamilton for over 70 years, and a member of the Golden Agers of Hamilton. Tommie was predecease­d by her husband, Andrew Lee Williams; son, Tommy Andrew Williams; parents, Dave and Bessie McCutchen; sisters, Lucille Bryant, Rosalee Nesmith, Sarah Waterman; and brother, Thomas (Sonny) Williams. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce and Janice Williams; son, Anthony Williams all of Hamilton Township, NJ; brother-in-law, Jerry Williams; sister-in-law, Ko Williams, 3 grandchild­ren, 5 great grandchild­ren, 3 great grandchild­ren, nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends, and members of the “White City” Hamilton community. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11:00 am at St Phillips Baptist Church 445 Parkinson Ave, Hamilton, NJ. The interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 9am to 11am at the church. Arrangemen­ts are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
