Neil Robert McDougall of Yardville

Neil Robert McDougall, 82, of, Yardville, N.J. entered into his eternal rest to join his beloved wife on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital of Hamilton, NJ surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, Neil was a lifelong area resident. He retired after 35 years with Melcor Corporation in Ewing, NJ as a plant supervisor. He was a proud US Army Veteran. Neil loved going to the horse races, playing cards, and golfing. He was a scotch aficionado. He loved nothing more than spending quality time with his grandchildren. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Son of the late John “Buddy” and Rita (Armstrong) McDougall; beloved husband of the late Jean (Benedetti) McDougall; brother-in-law of the late Maryann Chaty; Neil is survived by his three children, Mary Kelley and husband David Ardente, Kevin McDougall, and Jeanne and husband Leonard Carella; three grandchildren, Katelyn and Kayla Ardente, and Devon Fruscione; two brothers, Joe McDougall and wife Gerry, Jack McDougall and wife Dorothy; brothersin-law, Thomas Benedetti and husband Dominic Cozzi, and William Chaty; a special friend Geraldine Reedy; as well as nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 9:30 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, 3500 So. Broad St., Hamilton, NJ. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey St., Hamilton, NJ. Family and friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619.
