TCA rolls past Immaculate Conception

ROSELLE >> The Trenton Catholic Academy girls basketball team picked up where it left off Friday night by coming back to defeat Immaculate Conception, 70-36, at the Roselle Catholic Tip-Off Saturday afternoon.

Naomi Shorts led four TCA players in double figures with 13 points. Giana Boulden, Leianya Massenat and Habiba Elgizawy backed her with 12 points apiece.

The Mikes improved to 2-0 in advance of Monday’s 6 p.m. rematch of last season’s Mercer County Tournament final with the 6-0 Pennington School at the Iron Palace.
