Hopewell sweeps meet at Jackson Liberty
JACKSON >> It was a positive day for the Hopewell wrestling team Saturday as it improved to 5-2 by sweeping a quad meet at Jackson Liberty.
By the time the quad was finished, Hopewell Valley had beaten Princeton, 57-15, Jackson Liberty, 57-15, and in the biggest victory of the three, perennial Group I Group qualifier Point Pleasant Beach by the score of 46-30.
Among the unbeaten wrestlers on the day for Hopewell were Christian Micikas, Jacob Venezia, Joey Vannozzi, Aaron Longo, Justin Venezia and Christian Cacciabaudo.

Trenton came in third with 172 points and Lawrence was fifth with 121. Plainfield was the winner and Linden was second.
George Rios (126) and Tee Lormia (145) led Trenton with firstplace showings.
