Sophie Ramutkowski, 92, of Hamilton passed away December 25,

2018 at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lawrence.

Wife of the late John Ramutkowski; daughter of the late Wassail & Anna Drit Yuzwa; sister of the late Mary Scabarozi, Helen Richleski, Anna Garrett, Olga Angeloni, and Samuel, Peter and Michael Yuzwa. Also predeceasing Sophie is her devoted and long- time friend Joseph Sondej.

Surviving Sophie are 3 daughters Irene & Wayne Sokolowski of Trenton, Susan & Ken VanAken of Burlington Township and Paula & Dennis Sullivan of McLean, VA; a son John & Barbara Ramutkowski of Tucson, AZ; 6 grandchildren Lisa & husband Matthew, Eric, Zachary & wife Melissa, Melissa and husband Jimmy, Elizabeth and Aidan; 4 great grandchildren Matthew, Mason, Emma and Jacob; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sophie was born in Trenton and was a lifelong Trenton and Hamilton Township resident. She retired in 1992 after 20 years of service with Heinemann Electric Company on Brunswick Pike. Throughout her life, Sophie enjoyed caring for her family.

The Funeral will be held at 10:00am on Monday December 31st in Winowicz Funeral Chapel 865 Brunswick Avenue. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday at St. Hedwigs Church with Rev. Dr. Fr. Jacek W. Labinski officiating. Burial will follow in St. Hedwigs Cemetery in Ewing Township. Calling Hours will be Monday morning from 8:30am to 10:00am at the funeral chapel.
