ROBBINSVILLE
School Bus Crashes: A school bus crashed late Friday afternoon into a utility pole after the bus driver suffered a medical episode. None of the students occupying the bus got injured. The incident occurred about 4 p.m. off Route 130 South near the A&M Farm Market. The bus, which originated from Sharon Elementary School in Robbinsville, was transporting 30 children when it struck the utility pole after the unidentified driver suffered an undetermined medical episode. No injuries to children were reported and all students were safely transported via a second bus to their respective bus stops by 5:10 p.m. Downed power lines caused by the accident had to be repaired by utility crews.

Murder Indictment: Thomas A. Thompson Jr., 39, of Burlington City, has been indicted on murder charges in connection with the October 2018 shooting that killed 37-year-old Hubert Moore Jr. The grand jury indictment handed up Thursday charges Thompson with first-degree murder, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and second-degree certain persons not to have weapons. Thompson, who is being detained in the Burlington 1:30 a.m. Oct. 6, 2018, and fired into the open window, striking Moore, who was a front-seat passenger. Moore, a Burlington City resident, was pronounced dead at Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County in Willingboro about 30 minutes later. The driver, who was the only other occupant, was not injured in the shooting. Thompson was arrested as a suspect two days later in Bordentown Township by the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department Warrant Unit and the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshals Service. Thompson is being prosecuted by Burlington County Assistant Prosecutor Jamie Hutchinson. The investigation is being conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office and the Burlington City Police Department. The lead investigators are Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Tom LaRosa and Detective Cpl. Ann Czajka of the Burlington City Police Department.
BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, Pa.
Theft: Sometime overnight unknown subjects entered a 2018 Dodge that was parked on the 100 block of Misty Pine Road in Levittown and removed a purse, gift cards and cash. The approximate value of the theft was $409. The incident was reported to the Bristol Township Police Department Wednesday morning. Another Theft: Sometime overnight unknown subjects entered a 2017 Honda that was parked on the 100 block of Mill Drive in Levittown and removed a locking lug adapter. The approximate value of the theft was $30. The incident was reported to the Bristol Township Police Department Wednesday morning.
And Another Theft: A thief was observed on video entering a 2005 Honda that was parked on the 100 block of Mill Drive in Levittown about 4 a.m. Wednesday. The thief ransacked the inside of the vehicle. Taken was an Italian Social Security card, driver’s license and International driver’s license. The approximate value of the theft was $50. The incident was reported to the Bristol Township Police Department Wednesday morning.
