The white supremacy group European Heritage Heritage Association will march in Princeton Saturday around noon.

Welcome to our Aryan brothers. Enjoy your stay. Meanwhile at least one counter protest appears ready to launch resistance against the Euros as Mayor Liz Lempert urged counter-protesters to chill.

“These individuals have a right to free speech however despicable their message of hate, bigotry, and ignorance. We stand in opposition to this twisted attempt to spew hate,” Lempert said in her Facebook post.

Princeton police said they will monitor the situation.

If people unite and express love and support for unity only when others express hate and bigotry then love will struggle for victory. Love must exist as a lifestyle. Daily.

Several news reports noted that anti-Semitic and racist posters have been found in Princeton in the past months.

What’s amazing is that we would not care if several “love” or “peace” placards were found in Princeton, Trenton or Hamilton. Unfortunate that negativity reigns in this world to the point that one might assume that the devil holds an advantage.

Love and peace exist as expressions and conditions that we take for granted although when activated and shown, can change not only individuals but alter history.

It’s disheartening and disappointing that hate activates love; war cultivates peace; cruelty generates mercy; as if the positive human traits could not exist abundantly or start up without assistance from opposites.

Todd Rundgren, an acclaimed musician still not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (yeah, it’s unbelievable) performs a catalogue of songs about filial love including, “Love In Action”, “The Verb “To Love” and “Love Is The Answer.”

“Yeah, you could be the last trace of the master race; The Nazis really send you to another place.

Still, you can’t stop it ..... You can’t stop love in action,” Rundgren sings.

And in “The Verb “To Love”, Rundgren offers:

“I’m looking for a love and I may not find it; you know it doesn’t mean a thing — without some action behind it.”

So, we find ourselves dealing with love not as a noun but being shown — in deed indeed. Love as a verb represents a powerful force.

If you enjoy music and message then check out Upper Darby’s musical genius Rundgren as he wraps up “Love Is The Answer.”

“And when you feel afraid, love one another

When you’ve lost your way, love one another

When you’re all alone, love one another

When you’re far from home, love one another

When you’re down and out, love one another

All your hope’s run out, love one another

When you need a friend, love one another

When you’re near the end, love We got to love, we got to love one another

Light of the world, you got to shine on me

Love is the answer

Shine on us all (know that love can save the day).”

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Wherever you may be today — activate your love power.
