Nottingham pulls away from Steinert in second half

HAMILTON >> Javon Jenkins led three players in double figures and the Nottingham boys basketball team collected a 5339 victory over township rival Steinert on Tuesday night.

Brandon Raba and Za’Mir Brown netted 14 points each for the Northstars (5-7), who pulled away in the second half by outscoring the Spartans, 35-23.

Mario Mazur led Steinert (66) with 15 points. ROBBINSVIL­LE 56, ALLENTOWN 54 ALLENTOWN >> Brian Tierney scored 21 points and the Ravens (3-8) picked up the victory thanks to a 14-8 fourth quarter run. Dan Griffin and Ryan Smith added 11 points apiece for Robbinsvil­le.

Brandon Pfeifer netted 22 points and Joe Baldachino had 12 for the Redbirds (4-6), who surged in front on a 22-10 third quarter before the Ravens rallied. Luke Burston led South with 11 points.
