Burlington
Bus Porn: A bus driver was arrested for watching pornography in front of school children. Franck Lafortune, 64, of Burlington, is accused of watching a pornographic video on his cell phone while on the bus around 8:30 a.m. Monday. The bus was reportedly parked at the time. Two Indian Mills Elementary School students told their parents they saw Lafortune watching the video. School officials later called police after the kids’ parents complained about the allegations. As a result of the investigation, cops charged Lafortune with obscenity to minors under the age of 18. District Superintendent Christine Vespe says the bus driver has been suspended by his employer and will no longer work the district’s bus routes. Lafortune was released from police custody pending a court appearance.
East Windsor
Drugs and Driving: Edgar Argudo Perez, 22, was arrested after police allegedly found marijuana, THC oil and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Route 33. Perez was initially stopped for reckless driving and failure to maintain a lane of travel. Pot Bust: Isaiah Roberts, 23, of Fort Monmouth, was arrested after police found marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Route 33. Roberts was initially stopped for improper safety glass on the vehicle he was driving. Drugs and Driving Too: Najee Gregory, 20, of Newark, was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 130.
Montgomery
DUI: Barbara Martin, 67, of Princeton, NJ. was arrested last month for driving under the influence. Police say Martin failed field sobriety exams and was charged with driving while intoxicated and careless driving.
Drugs and DUI: Christopher Lozak, 26, of Skillman, was arrested last month for possession of drugs and driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop. Police say Lozak consumed alcoholic beverages prior to driving home, and that he admitted to drinking an alcoholic beverage while driving. Police also found drugs and paraphernalia when they searched the vehicle. Lozak was charged with driving while intoxicated, consuming an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, possession of an open container in a motor vehicle, driving while suspended, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bucks County, Pa.
Prohibited Felon: Enoc Raphael, 33, was arrested after attempting to purchase a firearm at Classic Pistol in the 1300 block of Industrial Highway. Police say Raphael is prohibited from possessing firearms, and that he provided incorrect information on the required forms when trying to purchase the weapon.
Assault: Samuel Paul O’Brien, 36, was arrested for assaulting and harassing a victim on Commerce Circle. Police say he also damaged the victim’s vehicle.
