Pennington stuns PDS in Prep B semis

PRINCETON >> Patrick Higgins poured in 30 points and the Pennington boys basketball team stunned Princeton Day, 66-63, on Sunday afternoon to reach the NJISAA Prep B championship game.

Tarun Kumar added 11 points and Ryan Bowen netted 10 for the Red Raiders (5-18), who will play for a state title on Wednesday despite this being one of their tougher seasons in recent memory.

The Panthers (12-11) have dropped three straight, but get to continue their season in the upcoming Mercer County Tournament.
