Open letter to Hamilton Democratic Committee
In the very near future, Hamilton Democrats will gather to select their candidates for two council seats and a mayoral candidate.
The purpose of this letter is to ask the Democratic Committee members to support Joanne Bruno and to elect her to represent Hamilton in this coming November’s council elections
I offer my support to Joanne because among many reasons: Joanne is informed on the issues that affect our quality of life, safety, economic wellbeing and general wellbeing. Joanne has experience representing a constituency as an elected representative. Joanne does not disagree with a person or persons without hearing out their point of view meaning that she will deliberate the decisions council has to make. Joanne is a well-known person in the community and is able to be elected by Hamiltonians atlarge. In addition, like most Hamiltonians, Joanne’s conscience is governed by a consensus of people from different persuasions - not solely by a strict or imposed ideology.
Most of all, political affiliation aside, Joanne is a contributor to the Hamilton Community and her vast array of friends and acquaintances know this and will reward her with their vote.
If we want good representation in local government, it starts with the nomination process. Therefore, I encourage those Democratic Committee persons to select Ms. Joanne Bruno as one of the two candidates you must nominate. — Dan Keelan, Hamilton Resident and Registered Democrat
