Princeton pulls away from Long Branch in CJ IV first-round game

PRINCETON >> Shaylah Marciano’s 16 points and 15 more from Catherine Dyevich carried the fourth-seeded Princeton High girls basketball team to a 49-34, comefrom-behind win over 13th-seeded Long Branch Monday in the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group IV Tournament.

Erin Devine added 12 points for the Tigers, who will host fifth-seeded Trenton (16-9) at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the next round.

The Green Wave’s Meg Navarro topped all scorers with 17 points.
